Fun with Poppa Bathon!

What a fun weekend! Auntie Jennifer and Uncle Jason arrived on Friday, followed by Poppa Bathon, Uncle Tim, Aunt Carolyn, and cousin Nick on Saturday. We had such a fun time, as you can see in all of the pictures! On Sunday, James Patrick was baptised and it was followed by a celebration at Grandma and Grandpa Bucholz's house. Thank you again for everything. We had such a great time!!

Brotherly Love

Here are James and Lenny spending some quality time together. Can't you just see the love between the two of them? Well, maybe Lenny loves him...James isn't too sure yet.

2 Months Old!

We can't believe James is already 2 months old! Where has the time gone? He woke up very happy today, but unfortunately we had a visit to the doc's for his first immunizations. Poor little man. Needless to say, it was rough on him and Mommy as well! I'm not sure who cried more! But after his appointment, we had a visit from Auntie Katie and that cheered him up! She even had him laughing! That Auntie Katie is just so much fun!

He currently weighs in at 10 lbs 12 oz, 22 in long. He's in the 50th percentile for his age..an increase from the 25th percentile from his previous visit. He's growing up so quickly!

Lazy Day

James and I decided to spend time together just hanging out at home. While Mommy tried to clean, James enjoyed laying on Mommy and Daddy's king sized bed. He looks so small with all that room! And as always, he spent some quality time in his swing...by far his favorite past time. Thanks GG!!! He can't wait to meet you!

Happy Mother's Day!

Here are a few pictures from our weekend. We celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa Bucholz and Auntie Katie by going to breakfast downtown Wheaton. James had so much fun being with Grandma and Grandpa Bucholz and his Godmother Katie. He's anxiously awaiting his Grammy Bathon's arrival this Saturday. He can't wait!! He's been counting down the days for a few weeks now. Then the weekend after...Poppa Bathon, Auntie Jen, Uncle Tim, and Jason will arrive in order to celebrate James' Baptism. It's going to be a great few weeks! He's wondering if Poppa and Uncle Tim will show him a few football moves during his visit?

It was such a special Mother's Day this year for I was actually celebrating for myself! Being a mother is the most wonderful feeling in the world, and I can't imagine life without my little James. Mark and I are blessed with two wonderful Mothers...we love you both very much and hope you had a Happy Mother's Day!

Fun with Friends!

James had a fun filled day of shopping with his best buddies Jacob and Trenton. It was such a beautiful day and we found many bargains for the 3 little guys. You can certainly see how much fun James is having! By the end of the day, he was so exhausted and fell asleep on the couch with Jacob.

I love my blankie!

Yes ladies, James has a sensitive side. He may look tough but he loves his blankie. When he's crying, placing the soft blanket to his face usually calms him and he falls asleep.

He loves being held, especially on his tummy. There's nothing in the world like having your baby curled up on you...especially one as cute as James!

Getting Stronger....

James is changing everyday! We can't believe he'll be 7 weeks tomorrow! He recently started "talking" to us, and we even get a laugh here and there. At least we think it's a laugh. He's definitely a very strong little boy. Here he's holding his head up to talk to Daddy. He actually held it up for over a minute! We're so proud of him!

Personality Plus!

Here is baby James, looking cuter than ever! I even got a few laughs out of him during this photo shoot. Looks, personality...could he be any more perfect?? A special thank you to Mr and Mrs Huff for this beautiful blanket. It's a very special gift, and it's quite obvious that James just loves it! Thanks again!

Big Brother

Here is James' big brother, Lenny. Lenny just turned 3 years on March 1st. He's our first born, and a very loving big brother to James. He's often found giving James unwanted kisses on his face and feet. He's anxious for James to be able to play with him, and most importantly, feed him treats that he shouldn't have!
