Easter Sunday

Here is little James at Easter brunch! A few ladies at the restaurant even stopped to comment on how adorable he looked! I tell ya, he catches the eyes of the ladies where ever he goes!

After church, we had the most fabulous brunch with Poppa and Grammy Bathon downtown Geneva! It was so wonderful and we really couldn't stop eating! Needless to say, we had a great time and relaxed for the rest of the day.

Poppa and Grammy left today, and we were so sad. James said he can't wait to see them in May. He wants to wrestle Poppa again, after he learns a few moves from his uncles!!

Time to Party!

It's so hard to believe that James turned one last week!!! Where has the time gone? He certainly has grown into the most adorable and social baby!! (Ok, I may be a bit biased!)

We started off the weekend, with Poppa and Grammy's flight being CANCELLED on Friday morning due to the snow! We were so upset, and fearful that they would miss the big birthday bash. Luckily, they were on the very first flight of the morning on Saturday..just in time for all of the festivities.

James' birthday party was held at our favorite pizza place in Geneva, Sanfratello's. We had a great time, and were so glad to spend time with our family and friends. A big thank you to everyone for all of the wonderful gifts. James is certainly a very blessed (and spoiled) little boy!

As you can see that he has a bit of a sweet tooth, like his Mommy. He dove right into his cake and almost ate the entire thing!! A thank you to Kay for "saving" the cake a few times, when James tried to whip it across the room.

Oh, and here are James' 1 year stats- He had a few shots and only cried for a few seconds!! Afterwards we took him to the Fresh Market for a yummy sugar cookie. That seemed to do the trick!

Weight- 21 lbs 3 oz (25th percentile)

Length- 30 inches (60th percentile)

A big move up in the charts for our little peanut from the 10th percentile for weight, and 50th for height at 9 months!

James' First Birthday Gift!!

James received his very first birthday gift in the mail last week...a HUGE wagon from Poppa and Grammy Bathon! A two seater, complete with sippy cup and juice box holders! He loves it! You can just hear the excitement in James' voice! He said that he can't wait to take walks this spring! Thank you Poppa and Grammy! We can't wait to see you on Friday!

Uh Oh...Spaghettio's

James is quite the gourmet. He's eating everything in site! This week's new cuisine- Spaghettio's. He loved them and certainly had fun trying them as well!
