Merry Christmas to All......

Sorry for the delayed post. Time just seems to fly by these days.
Christmas 2007 was just such a wonderful time. It certainly makes a difference when you share the holiday season with your child. James had no idea what was going on, but it was still fun for us..as well as the Grandparents. He absolutely loved the Christmas lights, the tree, singing carols on the way to daycare with Mommy, and of course all the wrapping paper! Not sure what he enjoyed more..the paper or the gifts?! In any event, he was certainly spoiled.
We spent Christmas with Poppa and Grammy Bathon in PA...as well as GG, Auntie Jen, Uncle Jason, Uncle Andrew, Uncle Tim, Uncle Dan, "GranDanny", & Auntie Talia. He received: Tickle Me Cookie Monster, Animal Train, Light up Ride on Airplane, Rattatouille, Bubble Lawnmower, Sports Center, Tool Bench, Bouncing Tiger, Light Up Rudolph, books, and about a million outfits. Mark and I were worried that we'd need to rent a Uhaul in order to get everything back to Chicago! Luckily, our SUV was packed to the brim, so we were able to get most home. We just had to strap Lenny to the roof. :) Just kidding.

A few days later, we celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa Bucholz, Uncle John, Carter, Devan, & Luke. He then received a John Deer Tractor, Lincoln Logs, some adorable outfits, and much more! Thank you to everyone for making his first Christmas so special for him, as well as for Mommy and Daddy.

Jail Bird

James was trying so hard to escape from the living room...but couldn't figure out the gate!!! So instead, he just chewed on it. Teething is so much fun!

James' New Ride

Here is my new car. Don't I look cool?

Love, James

Let it Snow.....

Here are the best friends(James and Lenny) watching our first snow fall. James was totally amazed, and of course Lenny loves the snow! James just can't wait to get out there and make a snow man!!

Christmas is Coming!!

James spent last Saturday evening with his best bud's Noah, Reese, and Avery at the Foley's Annual Christmas Sing-a-long. He loved spending time with his friends and hearing all the beautiful Christmas songs. Even Santa made an appearance!! It was so nice of him to find the time to visit us, knowing how many toys he has to make in the next month! It was such a great time and we can't wait for next year!!

New Smile!

At 8 1/2 months of age, James certainly has his own little personality. This is his new smile and he laughs every time he does it. We just love watching him grow and change every day! His teachers at daycare say that he's very strong for his age! Yesterday, they caught him standing at the bookshelves and "walking" while holding onto them!!! He's so advanced!!!
The second picture, is James working his way up to a standing position
with the help of the ottoman.
